National Recreation Trails Photo Contest Ends Dec. 31, 2011

A reminder that the National Recreation Trails Photo Contest is still open.
There are over 1,000 trails designated nationwide and 85 in California. Eight trails are close to the St. Bernard Lodge: Bizz Johnson Trail, Bumpass Hell, Feather Falls, Hartman Bar, Heart Lake, Lassen Peak, McGowan Lake and Spencer Meadow. For a database of trails you may have hiked checkout the National Recreation Trails Website.
The contest has three main categories: trail use, trail management and trail features. Check your pictures from your travels this last year and enter now.
