Lassen Summer Film Festival July 16 & 17th

Lassen Park has scheduled two days of films, screenings will be at both the Loomis Museum at the north entrance of Lassen Park and the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center at the south entrance during the day. The evening films will be at the outside amphitheaters at Manzanita Lake and the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center.

Story Behind the Scenery ( 20 minute film) will show at 9 am 9:30 am 10am 10:30 am 11:30 am 12:30 1:30 and 4:30 pm. This is the normal film available at Lassen Park visitor centers. The photography in this short film is excellent.
Film Festival screenings will start at 11:00 am both days. The last film starts at 9 pm both evenings at the outside amphitheaters.
The films are divided into six categories; Astrobiology, Astronomy, Flora/Fauna, Recreation, Wilderness and Find Your Park.
