25tht Annual Rails to Trails Festival 2017

Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot.
The Rails to Trails Festival and Bizz Johnson Marathon draws guests from all over California and Northern Nevada.
Highlights of the festival include; chili cook-off, salsa contest, live music, rail road handcar races and great food.
This annual event besides being a day of fun, supports Lassen Land and Trails Trusts’s mission to conserve significant natural areas and landscapes and to promote and enhance a system of leading public trails in North Eastern California.
Fall colors should be close to their peak on the Bizz Johnson Trail this weekend. Bizz Johnson trail is also designated as a California Watchable Wildlife Spot.
