Our charming bed & breakfast-style lodge is the ultimate back-to-nature retreat for individuals, couples, families, and groups. We offer seven separate sleeping quarters that booked together can accommodate up to 20 guests. When you stay with us, you will experience the rustic relaxation of a wilderness escape without sacrificing the finest of modern comforts and amenities, including a hot tub, air conditioning, and heating. Though we encourage our guests to unplug and relax during their stay, we do provide WiFi and a TV in the tavern for your enjoyment. All rooms feature Comfy sheets, towels, plush robes, and complimentary soaps and shampoo.
Our hearty breakfast is served in our dining room every morning from 8-9:30 am. A full breakfast is included in your daily rate. Our quaint dining room area is decorated with antiques, historic memorabilia, lending it a soothing, timeless atmosphere that our guests love. Guests can also enjoy meals and drinks in our full-service on-site tavern. During the summer months, outside dining is available on our patio, with breathtaking views of Carter Mountain.
When you are not off exploring the wonders of the Northern California wilderness, there is much fun to be had inside the St. Bernard Lodge. Kids will have a blast playing our vintage Pac Man game, puzzles, checkers, backgammon, chess, and mazes. For the adults, we offer a custom made Olhausen pool table and dart board. The lounge area is a great place to visit with other guests or to just catch up on with your favorite book.
